Extreme” With Nikki Bella Gets Release Date Despite Botched Stunt

As noted in October 2021, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is the jury for the new show “America’s Got Talent: Extreme” on NBC. Accompanying Travis Pastrana and featuring creator Simon Cowell as judges, Terry Crews will host.

The series now has the green light to premiere on February 21, 2022 on NBC. Many believe that the show may be canceled due to a stunt that went wrong during filming for the auditions.

Escape artist Jonathan Goodwin has been training a stunt as he escapes from a straight jacket and falls 70 feet into an air mattress, all while avoiding two swaying cars on each side of him. Something went wrong and both Goodwin’s cars crashed, causing them to explode when he fell to the ground, losing his air mattress. On the set, he is believed to have died of a stunt attempt, however, he has since been on his way to recovery.
