Featherweight Tugstsogt Nyambayar now faces one-time contender Sakarya Lucas after his original opponent Vic Basilas tested positive for COVID-19.
The evening’s co-main event features a rematch between ultra-light contenders Subriel Matías (17-1, 17 KOs) and Petros Ananyan (16-2-2, 7 KOs). The latter won his first fight in February 2020.

Tugstsogt Nyambayar (12-2, 9 KOs) won a silver medal representing his native Mongolia at the 2012 Olympics and now lives in Southern California, where he trained under John Pullman. The 29-year-old has moved up the featherweight rankings after his extensive amateur career with wins over Harmonito della Torre and former interim champ Oscar Escandon.
Nyambayar secured his first world title by defeating former champion Claudio Marrero in January 2019, before losing his championship match against Russell on Showtime. He returned to the featherweight division after challenging 130-pounder Chris Colbert in the July competition, which he lost by decision.
Sakarya Lucas (25-1, 17 KOs) enters the ring looking for his third win in a row to put himself in a position to compete for a world title. A native of Omotetugualwani, Namibia, he made his US debut in December 2020 dropping a 10-round decision against Mexican contender Isaac Avillar.
Lucas, who has fought professionally since 2011, returned from defeat by eliminating Mario Macias Orozco in February 2021 before defeating by decision Marco Antonio Chapelle in March 2021.

The non televised bottom card includes undefeated super welterweight Evan Holyfield (8-0, 6 KOs), son of legendary heavyweight champion Evan Holyfield, with Virginia’s Chris Rollins (5-3-1, 4 KOs) in a six-round fight . Also, Philadelphia’s Rashin Brown (11-0, 7 KOs) faces undefeated teammate Katsuma Akitsuji (7-0, 1 KO) in a six-round duel in the featherweight.
Closing lineup is Puerto Rico’s Abimael Ortiz (9-1-1, 5 KOs) facing Ryan Lee Allen in an eight-round super heavyweight bout, and undefeated Lechon Rodriquez (12-0, 9 KOs) facing Sixto Suazo of Atlanta (9 ). -2-1, 7 KOs) in eight middleweight orbits. The event is also expected to see the pro debut of Max Garland of Washington, D.C. in a four-round welterweight competition against an as-yet-to-be-named opponent.
