WWE SmackDown Ratings Report For 1/14/2022

Friday’s live version of WWE SmackDown attracted an average of 2.174 million viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen, via Showbuzz Daily.

That final number is down 4.27% from the previous week’s final viewership of 2.271 million viewers for the first episode of 2022.

Friday’s SmackDown had a rating of 0.56 in the major 18-49 age group. This is down 3.44% from last week’s rating of 0.58. The main beta rating of 0.56 for this week represented 730,000 18-49 viewers, which is a 3.34% decrease from the 756,000 viewers 18-49 that the main beta rating drew last week at 0.58, according to Wrestlenomics.

SmackDown ranked second in the major 18-49 age group rankings on Network Television, up from the third in the previous week. SmackDown ranked #1 on the demo 18-34 this week, up from the previous week’s ranking of #2. SmackDown ranked #5 on the demo 25-54, down from the previous week’s ranking of #3. SmackDown came in at #8 by night in viewership on network television, dropping from seventh place the previous week. Blue Bloods on CBS Tonight on Network TV topped the viewership this week with 6.438 million viewers, while ABC Shark Tank topped tonight in the major demographic with a rating of 0.60.

Friday’s live SmackDown saw viewership and key beta ratings drop from the previous week, but the numbers are up from what the show was doing at the end of the year. Friday’s viewership is down 4.27% from the previous week’s episode, while the main demo rating is up 20.83% from the previous week’s episode.

The NBA game between the Maverick and the Grizzlies on ESPN tonight topped the Cable 150 with a major beta rating of 0.48, and drew 1,400 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped tonight on cable in viewership with 3.444 million viewers, ranking seventh on Cable’s top 150 with a major pilot rating of 0.23.

Viewership for Friday’s episode of SmackDown is down 3.89% compared to the same week in 2021, while Friday’s 18-49 lead beta rating is down 16.41% from the same week in 2021.

Friday’s SmackDown Show from CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, announces next batch early – WWE Hall of Famer Lita debuted her trademark blues in nearly 20 years, and Aliyah made her blue singles debut against Natalya , Sami Zayn made his debut in InZayn’s exciting new show for “out-Jackass” Johnny Knoxville, and the centerpiece of the action, which was WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns facing Seth Rollins.
